Riding in Tubes with Boys...

It's funny how the smallest things can make you think about what to wear. I was watching Amélie, as I do with alarming frequency, and afterwards I realised I always associate it with the red Converse worn by the slightly peculiar photo-booth repair man. More than any other item of clothing which is odd. Anyway I decided seeing as I'm riding the Northern Line and not around Paris with Mathieu Kassovitz the least I could do, on this somewhat drab London day, to help me make believe I'm chasing notes instead of chasing the clock was put my own pair on. So I did. Evidence courtesy of my friend's 64 year old camera phone.

Red shoes do that to me in general. It's weird. There's something alluring about them.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, by the way. Good luck with your dissertation :)

You're so right! I'd forgotten about the red Converse of the photomachine chap, but red Cons do remind me of Amelie!

I have never owned Converse. I am a fan of K-Swiss.
